Poster Guidelines

Each poster session is two hours in length. Authors should be available during that time to answer questions, expand on the material and take part in discussions. The following guidelines have been adopted.

  1. Poster size is 4′ x 4′. There will be two posters per side of the 4′ x 8′ board. Larger posters may not overlap others. Failure to extend courtesy to other presenters may result in removal of a poster.
  2. Abstracts scheduled for poster session presentation will be grouped by topic. Poster sessions will be held: Sunday, August 12 and Monday, August 13. You will be notified of your session and time via email. Also check the printed meeting program onsite.
  3. Posters should be mounted on assigned boards. Locate your poster number in the meeting program. Your poster number will be posted on your board prior to setup. Poster pins will be available at the registration desk and in the poster hall.
  4. Type should be easily legible at a distance of several feet. Please do not write, draw or paste on the poster boards.

After checking in at the SIMB registration desk you will be directed to Columbia Hall to set up your poster. Badges must be worn for entrance into the hall. SIMB staff will be available to answer any questions regarding your presentation.

Thank you for participating in the 2012 SIMB annual meeting.
