When you Arrive

Please stop by the SBFC Registration Desk in Key Ballroom South Foyer on the 2nd floor of the hotel to pick up your name badge, program, registration list, and other Symposium materials during on-site registration hours:
Monday, April 25: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday, April 26: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday, April 27: 7:00 AM – 12:00 NOON
Thursday, April 28: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The official SBFC name badge must be worn during all SBFC sessions and activities.

One copy of the printed SBFC Program will be given to each registrant. We will not be able to replace a lost copy, but will refer anyone who has lost a program to the online program schedule at https://sim.confex.com/sim/38th/webprogram/meeting.html

Letter Certifying Presentation or Attendance

If you are an oral or poster presenter and require a letter certifying your attendance and participation, you may download a customized copy from the abstract site where you first submitted your abstract (https://sim.confex.com/sim/38th/cfp.cgi). If you are not a presenter, please stop by the SBFC registration desk to request a letter that will be emailed to you following the Symposium.

Poster Presenters

Poster Presenters should check in at the SBFC registration desk in the Key Ballroom South Foyer on the 2nd floor to pick up registration materials and then proceed to poster area within the Ballroom to set up poster materials. Poster chairs will be available to assist with poster setup. Poster pins will be available. Student presenters will receive colored-coded poster numbers (Applied-Green; Fundamental-Yellow).

Rapid Fire Poster Showcase Presenters

Presenters taking part in the Rapid Fire Poster Showcase on Monday, April 25, should report to the Holiday Ballroom at 11:30 a.m. and take a seat in the front row according to where you find your name. Please be ready to present as soon as the welcoming remarks are finished.

Meeting Room Wireless Internet Access

Wireless Internet Access will be available in the meeting rooms by using the Network HiltonMtg and password SIMB2016.

Attendee Access to Presentations

Attendee login access to uploads of presentations will be provided via email. The login will also be posted at the SBFC registration desk. Everyone who registered and paid for the meeting, including those who are no-shows and those who cancelled and are not eligible for refunds, will receive the login access. In addition, those who are no-shows or cancelled but paid to attend the meeting will receive a program book via regular mail.

Tabletop Exhibits

Please visit representatives from the exhibiting companies www.simbhq.org/sbfc/exhibits/exhibitors/ in the Key Ballroom on the 2nd floor during exhibit hours listed in the SBFC Program.

Monday-Thursday Speaker/Session Chair Breakfast

Session chairs and invited speakers should plan to meet for breakfast in the Paca Room located on the 3rd floor, on the day of your session to discuss any last program updates. Monday’s breakfast will be held 9:00-10:00 a.m.; Tuesday-Thursday’s breakfasts will be held 7:00-8:00 a.m.

Wednesday Hospitality Suite sponsored by Katzen International, Inc.

Attendees are invited to Katzen International, Inc.’s hospitality event on Wednesday evening, April 27, from 9:00-11:00 p.m in the Holiday Ballroom, 2nd floor.
