We look forward to seeing you November 6-9, 2011 at the Marco Island Marriott, Marco Island, FL for the ninth Recent Advances in Fermentation Technology conference (RAFT IX), co-sponsored by the Society for Industrial Microbiology (SIM) and the American Chemical Society, Division of Biochemical Technology.
Held biannually, RAFT provides a forum for industrial and academic scientists to discuss the latest developments in fermentation technology. This year’s meeting will follow a theme of ”From Concept to Commercialization.” Sessions will take us sequentially from early stage research through to production, and in each session we plan to have a range of speakers from different industry/academic sectors. This is a slightly different format from recent RAFT meetings where sessions were divided by subject area.
In addition to the seven sessions Sunday-Wednesday, one poster session and tabletop exhibits are also part of the program. These activities will be enhanced by networking receptions and morning and afternoon breaks. Group breakfasts and lunches will afford additional opportunities to socialize.
We look forward to your participation in RAFT IX. For specific questions about the program please feel free to contact us.
