Annual Meeting Pre-Registrant List

In an effort to operate SIMB meetings and special conferences sustainably, we are no longer printing the pre-registrant list. A downloadable list is available.

Please note that the list is for attendees of the 2016 SIMB Annual Meeting only. Reproduction of the list of registrants is not authorized and its use for general mailings or similar purpose, including use as a general mailing list for invitation to functions at SIMB meetings not specifically authorized by SIMB, is prohibited.

Poster Presenters Instructions

Poster Presenters should check in at the SIMB registration desk in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, 5 Fl and then proceed to the Exhibit Hall in the Grand Ballroom. Poster chairs will be available to assist with poster setup. Poster pins will be available. Student presenters enrolled in the poster competition will receive colored-coded poster numbers.

Wireless Internet Access

Wireless Internet access will be available in your guest room, in the Hotel’s public space, and in the meeting rooms.

5K Run/Walk Tuesday, July 26

Waivers for participation in the 5K Run/Walk must be turned in at the SIMB Registration Desk in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, 5th Fl or in the lobby prior to the run. No one will be permitted to participate without a signed waiver. Waivers are available at registration and will be on-site the morning of the run. Run participants will gather in the Lobby at 6:15 a.m.

Annual Outing #1 – USDA Headquarters, Wednesday, July 27

Waivers for those attending the USDA Headquarters Outing on Wednesday, July 27 must be turned in at the SIMB Registration Desk no later than noon on Wednesday, July 27. Waivers for the Outing are in the registration packets, and are available at the registration desk.

Meet in hotel lobby by 12:30 PM to board buses. PLEASE REMEMBER TO HAVE YOUR PROPER ID (valid Passport/Driver’s License). Badges must be worn.

Annual Outing #2 – New Orleans Cultural Tour, Wednesday, July 27

Waivers for those attending the Cultural Tour Outing on Wednesday, July 27 must be turned in at the SIMB Registration Desk no later than 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 27. Waiver forms are included in packets for those registered and will also be available at the registration desk.

Meet in hotel lobby by 4:15 PM. Badges must be worn.

Exhibitor Showcase

An Exhibitor Showcase will be presented on Tuesday, July 26, from 7:30 – 8:00 AM in Grand Couteau, 5th fl. Refer to the program for the schedule of company demonstrations. Continental breakfast served!

Exhibit Hall Raffle

SIMB will conduct a drawing in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, July 26 during the 2:30-3:00 p.m. coffee break. Tickets for the drawing will be given out in each exhibiting company booth and collected just prior to the drawing. You must be present to win. (Exhibitors, SIMB Board and staff are not eligible to win.)
