Question – Where can I get up-to-date information related to actions being implemented related to the cancellation of the meeting?
Please visit www.simbhq.org/annual for updates.

Question – Will my fees (registration, special events, etc.) be refunded? When?
Yes, your meeting registration fees will be refunded however associated fees such as wire transfer fees or membership fees will not be funded.

If a confirmation/invoice of the refund is needed, please contact registrar@simbhq.org.

Question – Will SIMB assist with the cancellation of my travel and hotel reservations?
As each individual has made their own hotel reservations please contact the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero directly or your alternate lodging provider.

As to travel, most transportation providers have made special provision to address COVID-19 related issues. Please contact your airline/transportation provider directly.

Question – I am an exhibitor – what happens to the fees I paid?
Contact Tina Hockaday, tina.hockaday@simbhq.org to apply for a full refund for any exhibit fees paid. Associated fees such as wire transfer fees or membership fees will not be funded.

Question: I am a sponsor – will my sponsorship fees be refunded?
Yes. Sponsor fees will be refunded as soon as possible. Associated fees such as wire transfer fees or membership fees will not be funded.

Question – I was scheduled to give a talk in San Francisco – what happens to my abstract? Can I withdraw it?
Your abstract can be withdrawn by request to tina.hockaday@simbq.org.
