Brian Davison, Oak Ridge National Laboratory<\/h2>\n

Brian H. Davison is Chief Scientist for Systems Biology and Biotechnology, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and is Science Coordinator in the DOE Bioenergy Science Center (www.bioenergycenter.org). He has 160+ publications and ten patents in bioprocessing, industrial microbiology, biofuels and bioproducts. His PhD in ChemE. is from California Institute of Technology and BS in ChemE from U of Rochester. He co-chaired the 15th to 26th Symposia on Biotechnology for Fuels and Chemicals. He is on the Board of the Society for Biological Engineering. Honors include an R&D100 for bio-succinic acid, the SIMB CD Scott award, and AIChE Fellow.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Nasib Qureshi, USDA Peoria<\/h2>\n

Nasib Qureshi is a Senior Research Chemical\/Biological Engineer at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA, ARS; Peoria, IL). He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (IL, USA). Dr Qureshi serves as an Editor in Chief for the World Journal of Microbiology & Biotechnology. He has edited five books, published over 170 authoritative research papers, review articles, book chapters, patents, and delivered over 100 presentations worldwide. He is passionate on industrial fermentations particularly butanol production and in-situ product recovery. Dr Qureshi has received numerous national and international awards. He earned dual PhD degrees. He is a fellow in American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and American Institute of Chemists. He has been on the Advisory Board of the Society for Biological Engineering, served as Presidents of both the AIChE (Central Illinois local section, 2008, 2009), and American Chemical Society (Illinois Heartland local section, 2008).<\/p>\n<\/div>
