Science Fairs
The Society’s Education Committee provides science fair certificates for presentation to winners of local science fairs. In addition, a cash award is presented to the winner of a regional or state science fair. Judges must be SIMB members.
To participate as a judge, notify the education committee chair of the names and addresses of the participating schools or regions and date by which materials are requested. Certificates featuring the Society seal as well as, in some cases, a check will be provided for distribution. In addition, the school will receive a one-year subscription to SIMB News.
Local science fairs: Certificates and SIMB News subscription provided
State and regional fairs: Cash award for first place winner, certificates for first through third place and SIMB News subscription provided
