The SIMB Diversity Travel Award has been established to promote diversity and to increase the participation of underrepresented minority groups in the Society of Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology (SIMB) amongst the graduate students making presentations at the SIMB Annual Meeting. The inaugural SIMB Diversity Travel Awards have been chosen. The winners will receive cash awards and certificates of recognition at the SIMB annual banquet during the 65th SIMB annual meeting in Philadelphia August 2-6.
